Editor-In-Chief - Claudia joined the team at MacDirectory in 2009. After living in Moscow, Peru, San Francisco, she made Boston her home. Life in the Silicon Valley paid off in early 1984 when a Mac 128 landed on his desk and he’s been in love with the system and its descendants ever since. He has since retreated to Portland, Oregon with his Mac-loving wife where he writes, works with computers and still obstinately refuses to completely leave the television business.
Heather Caspi is a freelance journalist with passions for health, safety, science, and technology. She previously spent 14 years as a public safety writer/editor, covering topics in emergency medical services, mobile integrated healthcare, disaster response, the fire service, and law enforcement. She first wrote for MacDirectory 10 years ago and is excited to be back. Heather graduated from the University of Maryland with degrees in journalism and English.
Writer - Trey is an award winning creative director with many years experience in high profile national and international projects covering a wide range of media including print, interactive, video and FX, music and computer games. He has won awards in the areas of product design, packaging, displays and marketing. He has also worked with a number of well-known artists in the music and film industry and has performed in and produced recording sessions in the U.S. and Canada
Tom has diverse interests ranging from woodworking to video games. He is a lover of hammocks and the sound of the ocean, and is still impressed by thunderstorms and airplanes. A ravenous consumption of music has inspired Tom’s collection of speakers and headphones, which are meticulously cared for. A traveler for both business and pleasure, Tom has spent time in many exotic locations around the world, and almost as much time in many mediocre airports.
Vishakha Sonawane is a freelance writer based in Bangalore, India. She has worked with mainstream newspapers of the country and major portion of her work in journalism has been in reporting covering social, crime and political stories. A graduate in Political Science and post-grad course in journalism, Vishakha has strong passion for writing and feels connected with her readers through her work. She enjoyed interviewing well-known Indian politicians and artists such as author Ruskin Bond.
Gabriela Delgado, is an interior designer and a passionate visual arts, she combines both talents in her creative work. In 2014 she won the Silver A’ Design Award in Arts, Crafts and Ready Made Design. She fully enjoy nature, art, design, music, dance and is also a protector of abandoned animals.
Lisa Hill, Lisa is a children's writer who's interests vary from sailing, teaching astronomy, learning code, skiing, hiking and writing. She's written various children's nonfiction books, plus published articles and science content for SAIL, Boys' Life, MacDirectory, NOAA, and Science Weekly. Native to the Northwest, Lisa enjoys sharing her sailing and hiking haunts with friends and family. Go Navy!
Writer - Stephanie is a native of Cambridge, Massachusetts, so much so that she got her education all on one street in the city. Although she has spent a good chunk of her life in the Boston Area, she loves to travel and has been to over 25 countries and hopes to see many more. She loves to play soccer or any other contact sport (including weaving through traffic on her Metropolitan scooter). Her favorite fuels, to give her the necessary energy to run around, are fruits and spicy food.
